The app is this site.
Not a port, not a copy kept roughly in step: the Android app renders route.huntlog.xyz. Which means it is never a version behind, and the file below is small because there is almost nothing in it.
A window, not a second product.
The app is a Trusted Web Activity — an Android shell around this origin. Everything you plan, import, export or save is the same thing on both, because it IS the same thing. There is no separate account, no sync to set up and nothing to migrate.
What the app adds over the browser
- An icon in the launcher, and its own window with no address bar.
- The GPS permission asked properly by Android, which is what the follow-me mode needs.
- Full screen for the map — a browser spends the top of a phone screen on itself.
What it does not add is content: a feature shipped here today is in the app today, without an update.
Signed, measured, and served from here.
This is the artefact, not a redirect to somewhere else that hosts it. What the page states about it is read from the file itself at boot, so the numbers below describe the download you are about to get.
- Version 1.6
- Size 1.5 MB
SHA-256

Check it before installing — on Linux or macOS shasum -a 256 huntlog-route_v1.6.apk, on Windows certutil -hashfile huntlog-route_v1.6.apk SHA256. If the line it prints is not the one above, do not install it.
Android will ask you twice.
Anything installed outside a store goes through the same two questions, and neither means something is wrong:
-
Open the downloaded file
Android asks whether your browser may install apps. The permission is per-app, and you can take it back the moment the install is done.
-
Play Protect will say it does not recognise it
That is a statement about the channel, not about the file: this artefact has not been submitted to Google for review. Verify the checksum instead — it is the stronger check.
-
It opens on the planner
No address bar across the top. If you see one, the app failed to prove it owns this origin — that download is not ours.
The browser can do this too.
Open the planner in Chrome on Android and install it from the browser's own menu. You get the same icon, the same full screen and the same app: every road on this page ends in the same place.
The APK above is there for people who would rather hold the artefact, with a file to check and a permission to grant.
